At Board meetings in January and February 2010, new Board members were added and some Board member rotated off the Board after their term of office had expired.
The new Board members were:
Dr. Lin Junqi from Guangzhou School of Dentistry in China, where she is Dean of the school
Dr. Anders Nattestad and Dr. Nader Nadershahi both from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Nattestad is professor and Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dr. Nadershahi is Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
The President thanked Dr. Derry Shanley, Majella Giles, Dr. Johann de Vries, and Dr. Toh Chooi Gait for their service on the Board.
There were also some changes in roles on the Board as Dr. Valachovic assumes the role as Secretary, Dr. Nattestad assumes the role of Executive Director and Dr. Nadershahi assumes the new role of Vice President.
