Welcome to the IFDEA Global Knowledge Centre, an evolving web-based resource for the dental education community to share knowledge and facilitate a better understanding of issues of diversity and inequality in oral health care and education.
The IFDEA Global Knowledge Centre (GKC) will pool international intellectual resources and expertise and serve as a repository of evidence-based and useful information accessible to the worldwide dental education community.
The GKC will provide a forum for the exchange of best practices in educational methodologies, research, biomedical sciences, biotechnology, information technology and clinical dentistry throughout the global dental education community, and will serve as a vehicle for sharing information about recent developments in these and related fields.
Through the IFDEA Global Knowledge Centre, we hope to promote international peer collaboration, consultation, and dialogue in seeking to address oral health challenges on a global basis, while respecting regional priorities and the autonomy of the individual academic dental institutions.
In the GKC, you can access the final reports and web-only appendices from the Global Congress on Dental Education III, as well as the reports from past Congresses.
We will be expanding the IFDEA Global Knowledge Centre over the next several months.
