Preparing Links to Websites and Material

IFDEA invites submission of links to websites and other content (for editorial review) that will consist of:

  • References to articles of special relevance
  • Documents and web pages
  • PowerPoint presentations with or without the audio of the lecture
  • Repositories of image collections
  • Case Reports
  • Digital video
  • Digital modules
  • Podcasts

Programs should  be submitted via the website with the following information:

  • Theme
  • Author(s) and institution
  • Key words (4-6)
  • Short summary (limited to 100 words)
  • Declaration that the material will be open to free viewing and reproduction

Link Quality Assessment

Links to other website content will be editorially reviewed and assessed on:

  • Accuracy and currency of the programme
  • Overall educational quality of the programme
  • Scientific / evidence base for content provided
  • Overall technical quality of the programme
  • Innovation and originality of programme
  • Relevance to dental student education

On the next page, you will be asked for information regarding the web-based dental education resource you wish to recommend for inclusion in IFDEA's Global Knowledge Centre.

Some URLs can be very long. To ensure that the URL you submit is accurate, we recommend that you open a new web page now and locate the resource online. Once you see the resource on your screen, highlight the full URL in the browser bar, and "copy" it. You can then "paste" it into the IFDEA submission form referenced below.
